GRN+GLD label boss Dirty Merlin returns with his third Double A-Side installment of the year. For 'Nightblind/Headstrong' we find him exploring his headiest territory yet. Perfect for headphones, a night drive, or a dark warehouse, each of these finely tuned tracks are an exercise in psychedelic precision. Lead track "Nightblind'' is a driving, thunderous, and contemplative electronica journey that pairs emotive trancey stabs with pulsing drums and massive bass. On the reverse side of the disc, we find 'Headstrong.' A dark yet emotional breakbeat driven track tied together with a vocal sample from techno pioneers Underground Resistance which implores us to "find our strength in the sound." Swirling synthlines envelop and drive us deep into our own inner world. This introspective bass voyage is Dirty Merlin at his very best.
