For our 48th release we have Basico returning once again, this time accompanied by Bry.Zen, a beatmaker originally from Southern Oregon who has since relocated to Long Beach, CA.'Slight of Ham' is a dust encrusted hip-hop jewel, with a 10 minute runtime filled with beautiful sounds and nodding grooves from end to end. A perfect companion piece for GG039, Basico's collaboration with Dirty Merlin, this project sees both Basico and Bry.Zen's personal style shine through this sun drenched beat tape. Voluptuous samples, tightly programmed drum patterns, and entertaining vocal snippets thoroughly coat the DNA of this release. Dive in, cut yourself a healthy slice, and take a bite. Hopefully this is not the last we hear from this powerful duo.
